12. How green is the Green Building Program?

Homes at Pringle Creek will exceed both EnergyStar™ and Earth Advantage™ standards. Pringle Creek hopes to qualify for the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED ND and serve as a pilot program for new development. In addition to energy efficient appliances and windows, another requirement is the use of 100% Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) lumber throughout the community. Our green building guidelines also specify environmentally responsible building materials and techniques. All proposed design and building plans will be approved by our Design Review Committee.
